The small things matter...
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed something.
Â
For many people, staying in their own home isn’t about one big challenge.
Â
It’s a hundred small things.
Â
The small fixes that keep adding up.
The seasonal preparations for Spring, Fall, Winter and Summer.
The basic maintenance of filters, light bulbs, and batteries.

But over time, I realized something else.
Â
What people often need isn’t just help with the task.
Â
The task is usually obvious.
Â
What’s harder to find is someone dependable.
Someone who shows up.
Someone who follows through.
Â
Someone who remembers the conversation from last month.
Â
Someone who asks how the trip went.
Someone who remembers the birthday coming up.
Someone who is interested in their latest hobby.
Â
Someone who takes an interest in the person, not just the project.
Â
Chris Checks In was created around that simple idea:
Â
Practical help around the home, a familiar face, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone is checking in.
Hi, I'm Chris
I've lived in the Burnsville, Farmington, and Lakeville area for more than 40 years.

Over the years I've owned businesses, raised a family, and become pretty good at solving everyday household problems.

More recently, I've had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my parents as they've gotten older. In many ways, this season of life has brought us closer than ever.

That experience helped me appreciate how much the little things matter—having someone dependable, having a familiar face, and knowing there is someone you can call when you need a hand.

That's the spirit behind Chris Checks In.

My goal is simple: provide practical help, dependable visits, and peace of mind for older adults and their families.
